Kisco Senior Living, a developer and manager of full-service senior living communities, is pleased to announce its partnership with Eversound, an engagement solutions company that empowers seniors to live with social connection and a sense of purpose. Through this partnership, Kisco Senior Living and Eversound will offer an innovative way to bring the latest technology and interactive content to older adults in ways that create engagement, purpose and self-fulfillment. Both companies have witnessed the positive impact technology has on seniors who live with hearing and cognitive impairment, including an improvement in mood and overall sense of happiness.

“Partnering with an industry leader like Eversound supports our ongoing commitment to bring innovative technology to our communities. Our unique approach and philosophy, Kisco Confidence, is centered on giving residents and associates peace of mind knowing that our communities deliver on health and wellbeing and five-star lifestyle. Eversound is a company that shares our same principles, values and beliefs and wants to improve the quality of life for residents,” said Brian Grandbouche, senior vice president of operations at Kisco Senior Living.

Kisco Senior Living is utilizing Eversound in 12 of its 20 communities with plans to expand in the near future. Eversound’s technology empowers residents in assisted living and memory care communities by enhancing their ability to focus and engage in group events and one-on-one interactions with associates, family and caregivers. With the COVID-19 pandemic, Eversound is providing solutions to Kisco communities that make interactions and programming accessible for all, especially with practicing physical distancing. Heritage Greens, a Kisco Senior Living community using Eversound, has already noticed a difference in residents who use the technology.

“We have seen a tremendous improvement in residents who have used Eversound during our activities. If you have hearing loss, you don’t realize what you’re not hearing. When you give them this device, you boost the residents’ confidence because they can hear again,” said Gina Rice, wellness director at Heritage Greens. “We’ve only used the headphones for about a month, but I know for residents with cognitive and hearing impairments this is a game changer. We’ve seen more participation in bingo, trivia and lectures just to name a few. A lot of times seniors are embarrassed to do something wrong, so they don’t participate. Eversound will boost engagement and improve the quality of life for residents. I’m excited to have another tool in our toolbox and look forward to seeing how else we are able to use it in the future.”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled about our partnership with Kisco Senior Living and see a huge opportunity to bring our content solutions to their communities and improve people’s lives. By working with Kisco, we can use our innovative technology with wireless headphones and a library of over 100 on-demand programs to create life-changing moments for residents,” said Jake Reisch, founder and CEO of Eversound. “We are excited to see the impact our services will have on their residents.”
