Residents and staff at La Posada, have already started the process of administering the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The initial distribution started on Monday, December 21. The Kisco Senior Living community has a contract with Walgreens to have staff come on site to administer the inoculations.

For now, the vaccine is only being offered to the most high-risk residents and employees of skilled nursing before other residents and staff are considered.

Residents living in independent living will be included in the second phase of vaccinations, which should be completed by the start of Spring 2021.
