The La Posada staff has been hard at work the past few months, so on July 2nd they got to enjoy a little playtime.

To thank these essential heroes for their commitment to residents during the COVID-19 pandemic, community residents and La Posada staff members celebrated with “recess at work.” In addition to games, there was a dunk tank, and associates got the chance to dunk the community’s Executive Director, Brad Cadiere!

For the past four months, the team at La Posada has gone above and beyond to serve residents during COVID-19. They’ve taken on all grocery shopping for residents and are also delivering all meals. In addition, they’ve found ways to keep residents entertained with courtyard exercise classes, outdoor bingo, ice cream carts, courtyard karaoke, Zoom lectures, virtual reality and more. Associates have helped celebrate many birthday and anniversary celebrations, including organizing Zoom calls with loved ones. The staff has also been preparing for hurricane season, ensuring the community has supplies and residents are familiar with all safety procedures.
