“Only a life lived in the service of others is worth living.” Albert Einstein shared these wise words with the world almost 100 years ago. Yet, they still ring as true today as a powerful principle to live by. La Posada’s associates and leadership team understand firsthand the importance of exceptional service.

La Posada is comprised of passionate caregivers who proudly work to serve their residents each day. Commitment to service is at the center of everything the Kisco Senior Living community does. It shows through the property, operations and overarching mission to enhance lives every day, in every way.

The organization’s Kisco Confidence® philosophy is another example of this dedication. At its core, it is a pledge to always put residents and guests first by providing safety and security, health and well-being, and quality services. The team at La Posada is enthusiastic about transforming lives through an exceptional commitment to service, and their passion is evident both at work and during their personal time.

Many of the community’s residents also enjoy discovering ways to interact and give back to the Palm Beach community and surrounding areas. La Posada organizes several philanthropic events each year to bring together residents and associates. This year alone, they collected back-to-school supplies, raised awareness for Alzheimer’s disease, organized a Santa’s workshop toy-drive, and volunteered independently.

“Residents in our community are not only taken care of but are stimulated daily in a variety of ways that inspire them to be at the forefront of their care and achieve the highest quality of life possible,” says Brad Cadiere, executive director of La Posada. “That includes our efforts to support the greater community in whatever ways we can. Our residents are compassionate and are always seeking ways to make life better for others. We take immense pride in being able to provide avenues that enable our residents to do what they love most.”

Recently, Lonnie Ehmann joined the La Posada family as their new business development director. Like La Posada, she is passionate about transforming lives through commitment to service. Along with Ehmann, several of La Posada’s current residents are members of the Jupiter-Tequesta Rotary Club. They often attend the Rotary’s weekly luncheons and carpool to and from other Rotary-sponsored events together.

Rotary International is a global, non-political and non-religious humanitarian service organization that brings together business leaders to provide and encourage community service, promote integrity, and advance goodwill, peace and understanding in the world. Rotary’s motto is “service above self,” and that has been a lifelong guiding principle for those involved with the organization.

Through networking events and guest presentations, members learn something new at every meeting as they share their diverse knowledge, ideas and perspectives. La Posada and Rotary have developed a mutually beneficial relationship for both organizations. As a result, La Posada was proud to sponsor this year’s 20th anniversary celebration of the Juno Beach Craft Festival that the Jupiter-Tequesta Rotary Club presents annually.

“This is a great partnership and strong example of what powerful community stewardship looks like,” says Ehmann. “Different businesses coming together to create positive synergy makes our community stronger, healthier and more vibrant for everyone.”
